From the potential customer to the order
The sales process in Dynamics 365 for Sales can help you make more sales and bring more customer satisfaction. You can achieve more consistent sales interactions by following the sales process through each step, from creating a potential customer to closing the sale. You also get to have a complete history if you plan to work again with your client in the future or if the client needs support.
The sales process starts with a potential customer – someone who is interested in the company’s products or services. In the CRM Dynamics 365 platform customers can be generated automatically or they can come from other sources, such as selected web pages, e-mail lists or business cards collected by the sales team.
Once you have determined that the potential customer is interested in your company's products or services, it can be qualified and turned into an opportunity.
At this stage, it is essential to identify the directly interested trading participants, competitors and members of the sales team responsible for the potential transaction.
Now is the time to present the proposal made to the potential client.
Has the opportunity accepted or rejected the proposal? Closing the opportunity may include completing orders, preparing invoices, or sending follow-up messages.
